Since 2004, Shangri-La Cafe & Grill has been bringing the rich flavors of Nepal and India to Sonoma County. What started as a small family-owned restaurant across from Sonoma State University quickly became a local gathering place for students, families, professors, and travelers seeking authentic Himalayan cuisine and genuine hospitality.

Founded by Meenakshi Sharma of Kathmandu and her brother Paramesh Adhikari of Cotati, Shangri-La was built on a simple belief: great food brings people together. Every dish is prepared fresh daily, using traditional recipes and quality ingredients that reflect the warmth of Himalayan culture.
